    Google update backlinks and PR

    When does Google update backlinks and PR?
    As with previous experience, backlinks for Google are updated about 4 times every year.  But sometimes if there are new infrastructures which are being built up (example is the new Big Daddy built in 2006) by Google, backlinks are not updated that regularly.  But if you are loading up on backlinks just the same, Google registers them for sure.  Your PR is calculated together with your new ranking on every search done.  The all-important link (for you, at least) may not be important at all since the operator will just show you a sampling of these links that appear.  Sometimes it really depends on one’s experience with backlinks to say whether they work or not.
