The term web 2.0 is used very widely among computer geeks these days. The term is used to refer to a certain type of web and net technologies that are used these days. The term refers to another newer generation of web development and technologies that take communities and other software to a whole other level. The term is also used to refer to new software that pays attention to services that are hosted such as sites that are specifically made for social networking and other web sites for blogs, search sites and or encyclopedias. The term has been made famous right after the invention of the first web 2.0, which was made by O’Reily Media.
