    What to Consider When Transferring From Old Domain to New Domain
    When transferring from old domain to new domain you have to use 301 redirect.  This would ensure seamless transfer from old domain to new domain. Text links help build traffic within your site. Be sure that it was updated after the transfer was made. There are softwares available to help update the links. Don’t forget to inform friends about the changes so they could appropriately change their links.  The old domain may still compete with your new domain for traffic.  To prevent this from happening you could install a Meta tag that directs robots not to index the site anymore.
