    Gateway Page

    What is a Gateway Page?

Gateway page basically acts like the gate of a building with directions given at the entrance to help oneself in locating what one wishes to do so. There is often a confusion put in by people to mix it with the door way page. But as is the difference between gate and door clear so shall it be taken in the same way for a gateway page and a door way page. A gate way page tells about all the door way pages it possesses. We can take as an example a gate way page on a website of a retailer with door way pages of different sections ranging from grocery to luggage and other items. So it should now be clear that gate way page is not a doorway page or vice versa. And each plays a different role as a navigational help in a website.
