What is Click through rate? CTR
Click through rate is a set critera to determine the attractiveness and effeciency of an advertisement placed. When an advertisement is placed on a website the number of visitors on that website are counted and compared with the clicks made on the advertisement by the visitors out of the total number of visitors is called the click through rate. For example if we place an advertisement link on a website and it is visited by 200 people daily. If out of the total 200 only 1 visitor clicks on the link we advertised then we can say that the click through rate is 0.5 % calcualted as 1/200 or total clicks on our desired link divided by the number of visits made to that particular website on which our link has been placed.
