Finding the right keywords
Finding the right keywords can be difficult. Even the best written article in the world does nothing on the Internet if no one types in the words that will take them to their article. Fortunately, there are free tools that can help a person pick the right keywords and give a person an overview of what they have to do for search engine optimization. First, think about what people would type into Google or Yahoo to find the information, those are the keywords you should focus on, but that does not tell you if they are good keywords. The next thing to do is check sites that keep track of keyword data. Google Trends will let you know the popularity of the search and show if it's on the incline or decline. Good Keywords is another similar tool, but it is a desktop application.
Type the keywords you want and find out if they are good or not, if not, perhaps you are thinking the wrong way or you should find another topic, but if you have a picked a good keyword, then it is time to move on to other important aspects of search engine optimization.
