Sandbox Theory

What is “Sandbox Theory”?
Sandbox theory or sandbox effect is an explanation why newly-built websites which are registered in Google do not immediately appear in the rankings.  There are many believers as well as non-believers of this theory.  For the believers, they say that websites which are frequently renamed or those which were just registered suffer from this so called policy wherein they will be put first in a “sandbox “before eventually being considered for ranking.  Non-believers of the theory just consider this as a mathematical way of computing rankings and not a policy whatsoever.  According to non-believers, there is a waiting period for newly-registered sites before their pages will actually show up in the ranking.
