IBL: What is Inbound Links?
What is IBL?
The IBL stands for In-bound Link which is a hyperlink that transits domains. Links can be inbound or outbound with respect to the link target and outbound from where it originated. IBLs were initially of great importance as being the only source for navigating web, but today they are significant due to their contribution in optimizing a search engine. Search engine pages are not only ranked with respect to the content in them but also on basis of their IBLs. This has led to make companies place as much-inbound links as they can on their sites without taking into consideration what is the context of the site from which it originated. For example a site xyz links to site abc site xyz has an outbound link while that of abc is called inbound link.
