No! email marketing doesn’t work the way it is suppose to. Why? The answer is the following reasons which have lead to the failure of email marketing. The other reason is the unnecessary pressure from different pressure groups to make spamming legal which has also put the mind of the potential customer in doubt. The last main reason is the mistake of taking legal email marketing effort as illegitimate and spam due to the sheer volume of emails sent to the customer. These are the main reasons which have lead to fail email marketing.

Email marketing is a direct way of dealing with the customers with the use of electronic mail for communication purposes. Email marketing is nowadays more commonly used for commercial as well as for non profit oriented message delivering. We can also say that each email sent to a prospect is it self an email marketing. There can be different motives for sending emails in marketing. That can be for enhancing relation with the merchant or using it to grab the customers. Email marketing is a very useful, fastest, cheapest and a direct method of communicating very effectively. And it has brought a revolution in the world of marketing for its promptness and dependability.
