HTTP 403
HTTP 403, known as ‘forbidden’, is a directional code belonging to the 4xx class. HTTP 403 directional code is generated when the server refuses to fulfill a request even though the request is legal and valid. This code represents a basic access error. The server does not require authentication; therefore, it will be of no use even if authenticating is tried. The server should display the reason for not fulfilling the request. Authorizing to server should not be repeated as it will be of no help. One of the most common reasons for generation of such code is that browsing of web directory is forbidden.
