Server Logs
What are Server Logs?
Server logs are used to track a variety of activity on a server. Who accessed the server, failed login attempts, processes that the system had to run and other vital processes. Server logs can be set up for a variety of purposes, although many will be set up by the operating system itself to handle backlogs. The information is stored in a standard text file so the network administrator can see any potential problems that may have arisen when an administrator was not around to handle it.
